Les personnes du métro et leurs pensées

I just found this project on Behance. It is by Amanda Mocci and is no other than a series of drawings of people on the train.

“I would carry my sketchbook with me everyday and draw people I find interesting. I would then associate the people with adjectives. After that I would come up with an imaginative phrase that goes with their appearance and what they might be thinking at that moment.”

I think it's awesome, the drawings are really simple and look very sketch-like, giving you that feel that it was for sure done while on those fast, short metro trips. The best part of it all is that she was brave enough to show her judgment of other people. We usually keep it to ourselves.

Irina Vannik

Found this gorgeous book by Irina Vinnik while browsing for inspiration in book design. I just can't believe such a beautiful thing. She says she'd like to find a publisher for her book in other languages, and I seriously hope so, since I don't understand Russian and I need to have this.

I can't believe I actually made such a cheesy card. On the other hand, letting your sweetness out, every once in a while, won't hurt anyone. In fact, this could make a great gift for tons of people or you list for Valentine's, or any other occasion.

It's an original illustration. I work on a regular piece of paper and then import it to Photoshop where I add color and textures. Hope you like it... and buy. =)

I love this ring. It's one of those really delicate accessories you could wear. =)
